Location: Salford Quays, Greater Manchester

Contract: Temporary / Ad Hoc Cover Hours: Office hours, shifts confirmed in advance

Pay: Competitive hourly rate Start: December / Christmas period - Must have Front of House/Reception Experience.

We're looking for a professional, friendly and reliable Temporary Receptionist to provide ad hoc front-of-house cover for a busy organisation based in Salford Quays over the Christmas period.

This would be ideal for someone with previous reception, face-to-face customer service or office experience who is looking for flexible temporary work and is happy to cover individual days or short periods as required.

Your new role

Key responsibilities

• Providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors and clients
• Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains presentable
• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
• Meeting and greeting visitors and notifying colleagues of their arrival
• Managing meeting rooms and assisting with bookings
• Handling incoming post, deliveries and couriers
• Completing general administration and data entry
• Responding to email enquiries
• Providing wider administrative support to the office when required

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous reception, front-of-house, administration or face-to-face customer service experience
• A professional and confident telephone manner
• Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with visitors
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Reliable and punctual, particularly given the nature of the cover
• Flexibility and availability throughout December and over the Christmas period
