Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Pastoral Experience Needed in the Wirral

Location: Bromborough

Range: FS1 to Year 6 (FS1, morning and flexible in afternoon)

Role: Full-time, long-term

Pay: 105 to 110, experience dependent

We are looking for a nurturing and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a varied role combining EYFS classroom support with pastoral and intervention work.

The Role

Mornings: FS1 Teaching Assistant

• Classroom-based TA support within FS1
• Supporting the teacher with learning and activities
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Helping create a positive and nurturing EYFS environment

Afternoons: Pastoral & Intervention Support

• Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Supporting children across different primary age groups
• Providing pastoral and emotional wellbeing support
• Helping pupils with confidence, regulation and barriers to learning
• Some classroom support where required

We're looking for someone who:

• Has Level 3 / TA3 experience or qualification
• Has strong pastoral, SEN or emotional wellbeing experience
• Is confident building relationships with children
• Can work flexibly from EYFS through to Year 6
• Is comfortable delivering interventions independently
• Has ELSA experience or training, ideally

The Ideal PersonThis would really suit an experienced TA who enjoys the balance of hands-on classroom support in the morning and more focused pastoral/intervention work in the afternoon. You'll need to be nurturing, adaptable and confident when working with children of different ages and needs.
