About

We're working with a leading global professional services organisation looking to appoint an experienced Senior Automation Test Analyst to join its Finance Systems team.

This is a hands-on testing role with responsibility for designing and managing the automation approach across a business critical finance and practice management environment. You'll develop and execute automated and manual test coverage across functional, system integration, regression, technical and end-to-end testing, supporting new releases, upgrades, patches and system enhancements.

You'll work across complex finance processes including time recording, billing, expenses, rates, vendors, tax and reporting, alongside integrations with wider enterprise applications and APIs. The role will also involve validating system and integration data using SQL, managing defects and regression packs, supporting UAT and using tools such as Azure DevOps for test planning, execution and traceability.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in automation testing, ideally gained within complex finance or legal systems
• Excellent SQL skills and experience validating data and integrations
• Experience creating automation frameworks, regression packs, test cases and test scripts
• Strong knowledge of SIT, regression, end-to-end and UAT testing
• Experience with test management and automation/programming tools
• Ideally, experience of Aderant Sierra or a similar finance/practice management platform
• Previous experience within legal, professional services or another complex finance-led environment would be particularly valuable

You'll join a collaborative technology and finance environment where you'll work closely with application specialists, developers, finance stakeholders and third-party suppliers, with scope to help shape and mature the organisation's automated testing capability.
