Strong pastry experience is essential for this role.

Are you an experienced Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef looking to leave traditional hospitality hours behind?

We're looking for a genuinely experienced pastry professional to join a growing food production business in Warrington.

This isn't a general chef role with some pastry involved — strong, hands-on pastry experience is essential.

It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves pastry but would like Monday to Friday working, no weekends and a much better work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

Working as part of an experienced production team, you'll help oversee the day-to-day pastry operation and produce high-quality products consistently across larger production volumes.

You'll be involved in:

High-volume pastry production

Preparing and producing a wide range of pastry products

Following recipes and production specifications accurately

Maintaining excellent quality and consistency

Supporting production planning

Helping to supervise and develop other chefs

Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Contributing to new product development and R&D

Helping the business continue to improve and develop its pastry offering

We need someone with strong pastry experience

We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked as a:

Pastry Sous Chef

Senior Pastry Chef / Chef de Partie

Pastry Chef

Production Pastry Chef

Bakery Supervisor

You'll need:

Strong hands-on pastry experience

Experience producing pastry at high volume

A good understanding of pastry techniques and production

Excellent attention to detail and consistency

Experience working to recipes and production specifications

Strong organisation and time management

Experience supporting, coaching or supervising other chefs

A genuine passion for pastry and high-quality products

Experience within 4 or 5-star hotels, banqueting, large restaurants, events, bakeries or food production would be particularly relevant.

Please note: general Chef experience without significant pastry experience will not be suitable for this position.

What you'll get

£33,000–£35,000 salary

Monday to Friday

6:00am–3:30pm

No weekend work

Overtime available if wanted

Christmas closure, including Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

Excellent work-life balance compared with traditional hospitality

Join a growing and developing business

Genuine opportunities for progression

Opportunity to get involved in new product development and innovation

Ready for a change?

If you're an experienced pastry chef who wants to continue doing what you love while getting your evenings and weekends back, this could be a great next step.

You'll be joining a growing production business where your pastry skills will be genuinely valued, with the opportunity to influence products, develop new ideas and progress your career.

If you have strong pastry experience and are interested, apply today via Indeed or contact Dave at Perfect Recruitment.

Please note: Due to the location, you'll need your own transport or a reliable way of getting to and from work.
