TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small independent nursery based in Skipton, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. This welcoming setting prides itself on its friendly and supportive team environment, offering additional CPD training and fantastic opportunities for professional development and career progression.

The nursery is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a permanent basis, starting immediately. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework, creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment, with exciting opportunities to progress into a Room Leader position.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

•

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

•

Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting

•

Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework

•

A sound understanding of safeguarding and child development

•

A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting young children

•

Excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop professionally
