The Role

As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.

• Foster independence, resilience and a love of learning.

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring excellent outcomes for all learners.

• Differentiate effectively to support varying abilities and learning needs.

• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and behaviour management.

• Be committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils.

• Have high expectations of achievement and conduct.

• Be a positive and collaborative team player.

• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary

Outer London Main Pay Scale: £39,196 - £52,241 per annum (M1-M6)
