Nursery Room Leader – Baby or Toddler Room

Up to £34,400 per Year | Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

We're looking for an enthusiastic and confident Nursery Room Leader to join a bright, spacious and well-established nursery, taking the lead within either the Baby or Toddler Room, depending on experience and preference.

The nursery offers beautifully designed, age-specific rooms filled with engaging resources, alongside an all-weather outdoor space that children enjoy throughout the year. With a consistent team and an established leadership structure, the setting provides a supportive environment where practitioners can focus on delivering high-quality care and exciting learning experiences.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who enjoys leading a team, creating a nurturing environment and supporting children through their important early developmental milestones.

What You'll Receive

• Up to £34,400 per year

• Heavily discounted childcare

• Option to buy and sell annual leave

• Day off for your birthday

• Generous pension contributions

• Long service awards

• Sector-led training and funded development opportunities

• Refreshments provided

• Support from an established nursery leadership team

Leading Your Room

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Baby or Toddler Room

• Lead and support practitioners to deliver consistently high standards of care and education

• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to children's developmental needs

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS

• Support children's communication, confidence, independence and early development

• Make the most of the nursery's all-weather outdoor learning space

• Oversee observations, assessments and children's developmental records

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, health and safety

• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children's progress

• Encourage teamwork, professional development and positive Early Years practice

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
