Salary: Up to £33,000

Our client, a warm and welcoming early years setting, is on the lookout for a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join their passionate team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner ready to take the next step in their career in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment.

The Nursery Room Leader will take ownership of the day-to-day running of a designated room, leading by example and creating a stimulating, safe and caring environment for children. The role involves working closely with a supportive leadership team and other educators to ensure each child’s learning and development needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of early years practitioners within your room.

• Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are always adhered to.

• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

• Monitor children’s progress and contribute to developmental records.

• Maintain a high standard of hygiene, health and safety at all times.

• Participate in team meetings, training, and parent evenings as required.
