Chelmsford: self-employed dog walker, one listed already, room for three

Job description

About

One walker in Chelmsford has already set up on WoofWalk, with walks priced from £11 to £16. We want three more so that owners in Springfield, Great Baddow, Writtle and the town centre each have someone near them.

WoofWalk is a UK app where dog owners book a walker close to home. You are self-employed on it. You set what you charge for a walk, a drop-in or overnight sitting, you set your hours, and you accept the bookings you want. Owners book and pay through the app and the money is paid out to you. We do not employ you, pay a wage or guarantee work.

Chelmsford prices from public sitter listings: half-hour walks £10 to £25 and typically £15, an hour around £21, group walks about £18, home visits around £16 and home boarding about £37 a night. You decide your own prices; our start page shows what you would keep.

Hylands Park and Galleywood Common are the main grounds. Hylands allows no more than four dogs per person and requires leads in the car parks.

Terms: nothing to pay to join. First 14 days commission-free, then 15% of each booking, dropping to 10% for life once five clients have joined through you. Tax, National Insurance and insurance are yours to arrange.

Commuter households make this a strong lunchtime market. Over 18.
