What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Voids Supervisor to manage the safe, efficient, timely and value-for-money turnaround of void properties.  Contract is for 3 months in Thamesmead, Greenwich. SE28 8BF.

Voids Supervisor

Pay Rate: up to £26.88 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 35 HRS, Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Contract length:  3 months

Location: Thamesmead, Greenwich. SE28 8BF.

Hourly rate is negotiable up to £26.88 per hour

Must possess a Full Clean Driving License

Key requirements:

Extensive knowledge and experience in housing refurbishment, repair and maintenance in public sector housing.

Working knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation and Housing Regulation

Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS) or Site Supervision Safety Training (SSSTS)

Comprehensive understanding of staff and contractor management in publicly funded social housing environment

The ability to diagnose building issues, problems and defects

Key responsibilities

Inspect, assess and triage new voids, determining the scope, nature and extent of works

Review works histories on NEC Northgate to ensure any outstanding or repeat repairs are addressed and resolved

Provide relevant property and resident information

Liaise with the Void Coordinators in arranging house and garden clearances, asbestos surveys and test reports

Ensure the provision of all relevant reports to contractors and in-house teams

Review and issue all risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments

Supervise repairs, voids, and specialist contractors, ensuring that all DLO and contractor operatives work efficiently
