Pay: £14 – £18 per hour

Hours: Part-time, 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 9:00am

A Level 3 qualified Breakfast Club Practitioner is needed in Wokingham for a short morning shift, 7:30 to 9:00am, Monday to Friday. Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting for an Ofsted-registered childcare provider that runs breakfast and after-school clubs in primary schools across Wokingham and Reading, some of which have a nursery, for children from preschool age up to Year 6. Term-time only and all year round contracts are both on offer.

About the Provider

An established, expanding childcare company that runs its clubs on primary school sites, working in partnership with each school.

Your Morning

- Unlock and set up the club, then greet children and parents from 7:30am

- Serve a healthy breakfast and run quiet, settled activities

- Keep sign-in records, registers and ratios accurate for Ofsted

- Take children to their classrooms and hand them over to school staff

- Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times

What You'll Need

- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

- Experience working with young children

- Good knowledge of safeguarding

- Excellent punctuality: the club relies on you for the 7:30am opening

- Paediatric First Aid (desirable)

This suits a well-organised, caring practitioner who is at their best first thing in the morning.
