Shift Engineer - Just Temps is supporting our client in their search for

Shift Engineer, based in

Clacton- On - Sea. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within engineering. The role will initially be a

temporary position for up to 12 weeks and for the right candidate will go permanent!

About the role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the production and site equipment operates at peak performance through planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and a rapid response to breakdowns. You will be working

42 hours per week,

12-hour shift pattern of 2 days and 2 nights, 4 rest days. On offer is a salary of up to £42,600 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

- Minimise production downtime and related quality issues related to machinery condition

- Participate in fault finding, diagnostic and corrective actions to maintain and improve the operation of the process equipment

- Act as incident coordinator (on shift) in the event of major breakdowns / incidents requiring the involvement / call in of other maintenance and support services

Requirements:

- Full, clean UK driving licence

- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC/HND) in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Reliable, professional and able to work independently or as part of a team
