Employment Lawyer to join their team in

Chelmsford, Essex, on a

full-time, permanent basis.

About the role

No two days will be the same. You'll advise employers and employees on a wide range of workplace matters, providing clear, practical advice while building your confidence and taking increasing ownership of your work.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Advising on employment contracts, policies and workplace issues

- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters

- Advising on dismissals, redundancies, restructures and settlement agreements

- Assisting with employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal and discrimination

- Drafting contracts, staff handbooks and other employment documentation

- Building client relationships and working collaboratively across the firm

About you

You'll be a

qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 0-3 years' PQE in employment law, or relevant experience demonstrating your readiness for the role.

Around 1-2 years' experience would be ideal, although newly qualified solicitors are welcome.

You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Most importantly, you're

curious, proactive and keen to learn, with the confidence to build relationships and the ambition to develop your career.
