LOOKING FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT?

We’re looking for reliable, calm and confident Night Concierge Workers to support an accommodation-based service in Oxford.

This is an important overnight role, helping to maintain a safe, calm and supportive environment for residents throughout the night.

Experience working with people with mental health needs would be a real advantage. However, you don’t need to come from a social care background — we’re happy to hear from people who have the right attitude and are willing to train and develop their skills in social care.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Working as part of the night team, your responsibilities may include:

Providing a visible and reassuring presence throughout the night.

Monitoring the building and supporting the safety and security of residents.

Completing routine welfare checks where required.

Responding calmly and appropriately to residents who may be distressed or experiencing difficulties.

Recognising concerns and escalating issues appropriately.

Supporting residents in line with service procedures and individual needs.

Maintaining professional boundaries at all times.

Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Maintaining accurate overnight records and handovers.

Supporting a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Working alongside colleagues and following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Developing your knowledge and skills within social care through training and experience.
