Hays Education are looking to speak with Early Career Teachers who are considering their options from January.

We work with a range of primary schools across Coventry and can support ECTs who want to gain experience through day-to-day supply, as well as those looking for a longer-term role where they can continue working towards their ECT induction.

We'll take the time to understand what you're looking for, including preferred year groups, days of work and the type of school you feel you'd be best suited to.

Your new role

If you're looking to build your confidence and experience, day-to-day supply gives you the chance to work in different schools and year groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. It's a good way to see different teaching environments and find out what type of school works best for you.

If you'd prefer something more settled, we can also look to match you with longer-term teaching roles and schools that are able to provide the support needed during your ECT induction.

Whether you're looking for a few days each week, full-time supply or a longer-term class teaching role, we can work around what you're looking for.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience gained through your teaching placements
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• A positive approach to classroom and behaviour management
• Confidence building relationships with pupils and staff
• A willingness to learn and develop your teaching practice
• A reliable and flexible approach
