£150 - £200 a day

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic

Art & Technology Teacher

to join our team for an immediate start at

Bower Park Academy

. Your role will be essential in shaping young minds, sparking creative expression, and supporting secondary students to achieve their best.

Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging and creative Art and Design Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Create a stimulating, safe, and productive practical workshop and studio environment

Assess student progress, mark projects, and provide constructive feedback

Ability to communicate with and encourage children of all learning abilities, including those with additional needs

Collaborate with colleagues in the Art and Tech department to implement effective teaching strategies

Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress

Oversee health and safety standards when using tools, equipment, and art supplies

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential

2 years of employment references / relevant teaching experience

An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)

Strong subject knowledge across the UK Secondary Art & Design Technology curriculum

Being passionate about inspiring students through creative arts and design
