£95 - £110 a day

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. Your role will be essential in providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to secondary pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups with Special Educational Needs (e.g. ASC, ADHD, SEMH)

Create a positive and adapted learning environment that fits individual EHCP targets

Help pupils access the curriculum by breaking down tasks into manageable steps

Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional academic or emotional needs

Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement effective support strategies

Track and report on student progress and emotional well-being

Assist with classroom setup and facilitate inclusive learning routines

Requirements:

Proven experience supporting secondary-aged children or young people with SEN with references

An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)

Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to supporting learning

Being passionate about helping vulnerable pupils overcome learning barriers
