£95 - £110 a day

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team. Your role will be essential in supporting classroom teachers, assisting student learning, and maintaining a positive environment across local secondary schools.

Responsibilities:

Assisting subject teachers with lesson preparation, classroom setups, and learning activities

Create a supportive learning environment where secondary pupils feel confident to participate

Provide targeted reading, writing, or math support to small groups of students

Ability to communicate with and encourage children with diverse learning needs

Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent classroom management

Assist with general supervision during break times or school events

Encourage positive behavior and student engagement throughout the school day

Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant secondary support experience) with references

An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)

Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support secondary curriculum work
