We're looking to speak with an experienced Assistant Site Manager for an exciting opportunity with a busy housebuilder on a residential development in Bromborough.
The project will see a range of open-market and affordable homes delivered using timber-frame construction, offering a varied and hands-on role for someone who understands the pace of residential housebuilding and takes pride in maintaining high standards from the ground up.
This is an opportunity for a capable site professional to join an active project, work closely with the wider site team and play a key part in keeping the development running safely, smoothly and to programme.
What will the role involve?
Working alongside the Site Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring subcontractors are coordinated effectively and works are completed in line with the required quality, safety and programme expectations.
You'll be involved in monitoring progress, carrying out site inspections, maintaining health and safety standards and addressing issues as they arise. With timber-frame construction and a mix of tenure types on the scheme, strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple activities moving will be essential.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility, communicating confidently with trades and colleagues, and helping create a well-managed site where quality is never compromised.
What you'll bring
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or in a comparable residential construction role is essential.
- Valid
- A good working knowledge of residential build processes, subcontractor management and site health and safety.
- The ability to monitor workmanship, maintain progress and identify potential issues before they affect delivery.
- A practical, solutions-focused attitude and the confidence to work in a fast-paced site environment.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
The opportunity
With a start anticipated within the next few weeks, this position would suit someone who is ready to step into a busy development and make an immediate contribution.
The role is offered on an ongoing basis, with the potential for a
long-term position for the right candidate. For someone looking to build a strong working relationship with an established housebuilder and demonstrate their capabilities on a live project, this is well worth exploring.
Interested? If you have the experience, the qualifications and the drive to help deliver a successful residential development, we'd like to hear from you.
