Picker Packer - West Drayton
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Picker Packer to work with a leading catering company in West Drayton. This role is the engine behind the flight, involving fast-paced tasks in a chilled environment where you will support the preparation and logistics of inflight services.
Shift patterns:
* Working 5 days out of 7 days
* Must be flexible for shifts and days
* Rotational shifts
Pay rates:
* 13.22 GBP hourly
Essential requirements for Picker Packer:
* Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years
* Applicants must provide a 5-year background history and have no unspent convictions
* All applicants must agree to a DBS check as part of the recruitment process
* If an applicant has lived outside the UK for more than 6 months, they must provide a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from the relevant High Commission, embassy, or appropriate authority
Desirable requirements for Picker Packer:
* Previous experience in a similar fast-moving, trolley-based or temperature-controlled environment
* Experience working within a diverse, multi-cultural team
* Ability to perform regular manual handling and heavy lifting of up to 25 kg
* Strong team player who is adaptable and flexible in a physically demanding environment
* Reliable, punctual, respectful, and detail-oriented with clear communication skills
* Positive, energetic, can-do attitude and the drive to work in a fast-paced setting
Role for Picker Packer:
* Off-load airline trolleys and sort high-value catering
* Pack meals, including various meats, to exact specifications
* Prepare inflight retail supplies and assist with stock counts
* Manage bonded goods while maintaining strict food hygiene in chilled environments
