Warehouse operative - Burton upon Trent
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse operative to work with a leading bookseller in Burton upon Trent. This role involves essential warehouse duties, including picking and packing books, managing stock, and ensuring all operational tasks are completed to a high standard.
Shift patterns:
* Flexible to move between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, shifts may vary: 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, 12:00-20:00 or 14:00-22:00 working any 5 days out of 7, including Sundays. Shifts confirmed daily within the Job&Talent app.
Pay rates:
* 13.14 GBP hourly
Must-have requirements for Warehouse operative:
* Must be over 18 years old.
* Must be available to work every Sunday as part of the regular schedule.
* Must be able to travel to and from the site for late-night finishes without issues (commuting distance no longer than 15 miles).
* Must be comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks, including lifting/handling items and standing/walking for most of the shift.
* Full time hours only.
Desirable requirements for Warehouse operative:
* Warehouse experience is needed.
Role for Warehouse operative:
* Pick and pack books and manage stock efficiently.
* Report any errors, damages, or quality issues promptly.
* Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
* Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report concerns immediately.
* Assist with inventory counting, stock investigations, and support team members and the Team Leader with daily tasks.
Location: Burton upon Trent. The site is accessible for those living within a 15-mile radius.
