Pay: £15.50–£16.50 per hour

Location: Shirebrook

Hours: Full-time

Job Summary

Our client is are looking for an experienced

Fabricator/Welder to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding and metal fabrication, with the ability to work confidently with

steel sections and sheet metal. You will produce high-quality work, interpret technical drawings, and maintain excellent safety standards at all times.

 

Responsibilities

Fabricate components and assemblies from sheet metal and various steel materials

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively

Assemble parts and structures to drawings and specifications

Perform

MIG welding to a high standard; stick welding as required

Carry out quality checks to ensure all finished products meet company standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

Work collaboratively with other team members to improve efficiency

Use basic maths skills for accurate measuring, cutting, and shaping of materials

 

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication (minimum

5 years)

Strong experience working with

steel sections and sheet metal

Proficient with fabrication tools, machinery, and workshop equipment

Strong mechanical understanding and ability to read technical drawings

MIG welding proficiency required; TIG welding experience highly desirable

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
