Hays are delighted to be working with a well-established organisation based in the Black Country area, seeking additional support within their finance team for an immediate temporary requirement.

Your new role

You will be joining a busy and fast-paced finance function, supporting the Accounts Payable team with high-volume invoice processing duties. Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing a large volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Inputting financial data onto the system
• Matching invoices and resolving any discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is entered correctly
• Supporting the team with supplier queries where required
• Assisting with account reconciliations
• Working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar invoice processing position. You will be a fast and accurate data processor with a strong eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment. You will be comfortable managing workloads to deadlines and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
