Spray Painter in
Clydebank on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Pay rate: £17 per hour
Schedule: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (with an early finish on Fridays).
As a
Commercial
Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing vehicle bodies for the application of paint coating to different types of vehicle bodies and rolling stock
- Painting solid and metallic finishes
- Using and selecting appropriate tools, equipment, and materials as required for work tasks
- Using your core technical skills and experience to complete tasks on time and safely
- Communicating any discrepancies or changes to your supervisor and engineering teams
- Ensuring your work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner
The ideal
Commercial
Spray Painter will have:
- Experience painting commercial vehicle chassis, cabs and bodywork
- Comfortable with reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivated, and able to work in a deadline driven, busy environment
