Connect Appointments is recruiting an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join an established food distribution business based in Bury.
Our client supplies ambient and frozen food products to local schools, and you'll be loading Class 2 wagons and vans ready for the day's deliveries. The shift pattern follows the school calendar, so you're off when the schools are closed.
What's on offer?
- Temporary to permanent - permanent position after 12 weeks
- Monday to Friday, 10pm to 6am
- Time off when the schools are closed, including school holidays
- £13 per hour
As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently throughout the facility
- Loading Class 2 wagons and vans with school deliveries
- Moving stock around the warehouse ready for picking
- Adhering to all health and safety standards throughout the shift
To be considered as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will need:
- An accredited Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
- A reliable, safety-focused approach to work
