1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £110-£150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Liverpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their academic abilities, confidence and independence.
The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will provide individual learning support to a secondary school student, working alongside teaching staff to assist with classroom activities, encourage engagement in lessons and support academic progress.
The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:
•
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
•
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
•
Experience providing 1:1 support or general classroom learning support
•
Good knowledge of supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 is desirable
•
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
•
A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting young people
