Its operations include home delivery services and deliveries to business and retail customers.The roleAs a Drivers Mate, you will work alongside the driver to help complete deliveries safely, efficiently and on time. The role involves regular manual handling and customer-facing delivery work.Key responsibilitiesAssist with loading and unloading vehiclesComplete handball duties safely and efficientlySupport home delivery roundsAssist with multidrop routes, including more than 10 stops and fewer than 10 stopsHelp deliver products to retail storesWork closely with the driver to maintain an organised and dependable serviceFollow site, vehicle and delivery proceduresSkills and experienceExperience of handball or manual handling workExperience of home deliveries or delivery supportFamiliarity with multidrop workExperience delivering to retail stores is beneficialGood physical fitness and a practical approachReliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a two-person teamGood communication and customer service skillsA flexible attitude towards daily routes and delivery requirementsBenefits£13 per hourMinimum eight hours paidPaid every WednesdayOvertime availablePermanent employment opportunityApply today.
