Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

£29,670 per year | 40 Hours per Week

Children don't separate their day into "learning" and "play", they're discovering something new in almost everything they do.

This established nursery embraces that approach, creating an Early Years environment where play, relationships and everyday experiences are all opportunities for development. Whether it's a conversation over lunch, investigating something new in the room or learning to do something independently for the first time, practitioners are encouraged to recognise and build on those moments.

We're looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to become part of the team. You'll have the opportunity to work with different age groups, build meaningful relationships with children and develop your Early Years career within a setting that offers clear progression into senior and Room Leader positions.

More Than the Usual Benefits

• Heavily discounted childcare

• Wellbeing programme and sick pay

• Benefits portal

• Competitive annual leave package

• Enhanced parental leave

• Training and development

• Paid Uber journeys from the train station to the nursery

• Onsite parking

• Financial wellbeing tools

• Access to a dedicated employee support fund

What Your Day Will Involve

• Provide warm, responsive and high-quality care throughout the nursery day.

• Plan and deliver experiences in line with the setting's curriculum and pedagogy.

• Recognise spontaneous learning opportunities and build on children's interests.

• Observe children's development and use your observations to support appropriate next steps.

• Encourage confidence, curiosity and independence through play.

• Provide attentive personal care while respecting children's individual routines.

• Use everyday moments such as mealtimes, conversations and transitions as opportunities for learning.

• Build secure relationships with children and positive partnerships with their families.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment.

• Maintain consistently high standards of safeguarding, welfare and nursery practice.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
