Are you energetic, patient and passionate about helping young people thrive? We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support a fun-loving 14-year-old boy with Autism.

This is a rewarding opportunity to build a positive relationship while helping a young person develop confidence, independence and life skills.

What will you be doing?

✅ Supporting a young person to access social and leisure activities

✅ Accompanying him on outings such as parks, swimming and community activities

✅ Encouraging independence and helping to develop everyday living skills

✅ Providing a positive, supportive and engaging presence

About Him

He is an energetic teenager who enjoys: 🎮 Gaming

🏊 Swimming

🌳 Exploring parks and getting out and about

Mileage will be paid at 55p per mile when the young person is travelling in your vehicle.

Important Information

The successful applicant will be employed directly by the family under a private arrangement and will not be employed by Cornwall Council.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding children and young people, all offers of employment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, administered by Cornwall Council.
