About

Systems Administrator (Apple Mac)

Hybrid, Office in Bristol (At least 3 days in office per week)

Monday to Friday

£40,000 to £50,000 + Benefits Package

Systems Administrator required by a people-focused brand agency based in Bristol. Working closely with the Head of IT, you will be responsible for the reliable, efficient, and secure operation of a cloud-first, Mac-led creative studio environment.

Candidates will need to have hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and supporting Apple devices using Jamf Pro (or a comparable MDM platform). Experience working within environments that follow security compliance frameworks is also key.

The collaborative team manages an estate that is approximately 90% Mac, alongside a small Windows setup. The job is highly varied, combining hands-on cloud systems administration with practical, people-focused IT support, ranging from everyday user issues to complex technical problem-solving.

Here is the chance to take ownership of a modern cloud estate, implement technology enhancements, and work within a fast-paced creative environment.

The Systems Administrator Role:

• Administer the agency’s cloud infrastructure, including Apple/Jamf, Windows, Microsoft 365, and font-mangement platforms.

• Support secure operations through user access administration, patching, endpoint protection, and backups.

• Monitor service health, device compliance, and security alerts, responding to incidents alongside the Head of IT.

• Assist with compliance activities and documentation, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials.

• Support the administration of SaaS applications, software licensing, and third-party supplier renewals.

The Systems Administrator Person:

• Hands-on experience supporting Apple devices using Jamf Pro or a comparable device-management platform.

• Experience supporting and administering IT services in a cloud-first environment, (ideally but not essential in a creative business).

• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams).

• Working knowledge of business networking (Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, firewalls) and familiarity with scripting/automation.

• Highly organised, security-minded, and resourceful with excellent communication skills.
