An established and fast-growing transportation organisation based in the Wirral is seeking Customer Service Advisors to join their busy operations team on an initial 8-week temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced customer service environment, with a strong possibility of the assignment being extended.

Your new role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers and service operators, handling incoming calls, processing bookings, and ensuring all enquiries are managed efficiently. Working within a busy contact centre environment, you will support the day-to-day operation of transport services whilst delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound calls from customers and service operators
• Accurately processing bookings and service requests using internal systems
• Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Updating customers on delays, cancellations, and service changes
• Monitoring shared inboxes and processing booking requests
• Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Providing first-class customer service at all times

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience within a customer service, call centre, contact centre, or telephone-based role
• Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
• A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn

What you'll get in return

• £12.98 per hour
• Full-time position working either 6:00am to 2:00pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Weekly pay
• Initial 8-week temporary contract
