As a Packer / Storeman you will assist with the day to day running of the packing and stores department where required.

Purpose of Role:

• Measuring up machinery and spares to ensure the correct pallets, bases & cases are ordered in time for dispatch.
• 
  Responsible for making sure all equipment and consumables required by the department are maintained and available when needed. Ordering and issuing any stock to the relevant jobs as required.
• 
  Collecting and delivering parts locally as and when needed.
• 
  Responsible for ensuring all finished machinery is suitably packed or wrapped securely, ready to be shipped to the customer.
• 
  Responsible for dispatching packed machinery using documentation provided by Projects & Commercial departments.
• 
  Working with Stores department to load dispatch vehicles ensuring paperwork is available and recorded accurately.
• 
  Assist with general stores duties as & when required.
• 
  Assist with the day to day running of the loading bay area to ensure the working environment is kept clean and safe, adhering to Health & Safety policies.
• Develop systems and procedures to ensure the department is working in accordance with any changing rules and legislation.

This is a temp - perm opportunity.

Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5pm.

£26k Salary.
