About

Manage the running of Urology outpatient and diagnostic services. Ensure patients progress through their care pathway in anefficient manner. Monitor waiting times and performance targets, taking action to improve service delivery. Coordinate clinic capacity, appointments, waiting lists. Lead and support service developments and pathway improvements. Provide line management, leadership and support to administrative and support staff. Work closely with consultants, nurses and operational teams to deliver safe, high-quality care. Monitor performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with Trust policies, quality standards and patient safety requirements. Support the management of complaints, incidents and patient feedback, ensuring learning is embedded into practice. Contribute to workforce planning,staff development and training. Promote a positive patient experience and high standards of customer care. Support the effective use of resources. Represent the service at meetings and contribute to wider organisational objectives. Act as a role model, working alongside clinical and administrative teams to provide leadership, guidance and operational support, promoting a positive team culture and helping resolve issues to ensure a smooth patient journey
