The role:

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students' literacy, analytical, and communication skills
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contributing to the wider success of the English department

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching English within a secondary setting
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
• Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential
• Be enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated to high standards of teaching and learning
