We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our vibrant, busy kitchen team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who takes pride in preparing authentic, high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine in a fast-paced environment. You will craft beautiful, high-quality sushi with precision and passion, delighting guests with every bite while helping create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where culinary artistry meets exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare, assemble and present a wide range of sushi and Japanese dishes to a consistently high standard, ensuring each piece meets our standards for presentation and taste

-Maintain a clean, organised workstation in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

-Source fresh ingredients daily, ensuring quality and freshness in every roll and sashimi slice

-Ensure all food preparation meets strict hygiene and safety standards

-Manage stock levels, monitor inventory of sushi ingredients, minimise waste, and assist with ordering supplies

-Work effectively as part of a team, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and delivering efficient service during busy hours

-Assist in developing new sushi recipes and menu items to excite our guests and keep offerings innovative

-Adhere to all health, safety and sanitation regulations at all times
