Voids Supervisor
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Van & Fuel Card
We are recruiting for an experienced Voids Supervisor to join an established organisation within the social housing sector, overseeing void property works across Watford and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in social housing maintenance, ideally from a client-side housing association or local authority environment.
The Role
- Supervise void property works, ensuring homes are returned to a lettable standard within agreed timescales.
- Monitor operative and contractor productivity, performance and KPIs.
- Manage material expenditure and ensure effective cost control.
- Understand and apply Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes to void works.
- Carry out inspections and ensure works meet quality and compliance standards.
- Work with internal teams and contractors to improve turnaround times and service delivery.
About You
- Experience as a Voids Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor or similar within social housing.
- Ideally from a client-side housing association or local authority background.
- Strong knowledge of voids processes and SOR codes.
- Proven experience managing productivity, material expenditure and costs.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
