£50,000 + Shift Allowance + Overtime Available

We're recruiting for an experienced

Shift Engineer to join a busy engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation where safety, reliability and engineering excellence are at the heart of everything they do. You'll play a key role in carrying out maintenance, inspections and repairs, helping to ensure operational performance and compliance across a high-volume engineering environment.

Working a 5 days out of 7 shift pattern, you'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, inspections and repair work, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance are consistently achieved.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair activities
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics and fault-finding across a range of assets
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Complete all work in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
• Respond to breakdowns and support operational requirements when necessary
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance documentation
• Contribute to high levels of equipment availability and operational performance

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Shift Engineer or similar engineering role
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification in HGV or PSV
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Commitment to health & safety and quality standards
