Credit Control

A varied opportunity to join a busy accounts team, combining credit control responsibilities with contract administration. You'll be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, supporting debt collection activities, and managing a central register of company contracts to ensure records remain accurate, organised and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day credit control, customer accounts and sales ledger administration.
• Maintain accurate customer records and reconcile customer accounts.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding overdue invoices and account queries.
• Support month-end processes, reconciliations and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
• Maintain a central contracts register and filing system for all company agreements.
• Track contract renewals, expiry dates, amendments and notice periods.
• Coordinate new contracts and renewals, ensuring documentation is completed, approved and stored appropriately.
• Work collaboratively across departments to gather information, maintain records and support compliance requirements.

About You

• Previous experience within credit control, accounts administration or a similar role.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Excel, databases and electronic filing systems.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Comfortable handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
• Good understanding of accounting processes and financial administration.
