Hays Education is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teacher to join a welcoming school in Knowsley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about giving children the best possible start to their education. You will be responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

The RoleAs an Early Years Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
• Provide learning opportunities through a balance of structured activities and purposeful play
• Observe, assess and track children's learning and development
• Adapt teaching to meet different abilities and individual needs
• Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the Early Years team
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
• Ensure pupils feel safe, supported and excited about coming to school

What We're Looking For

We would love to hear from teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within EYFS
• Have a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years curriculum
• Can create exciting and engaging learning opportunities
• Are caring, patient and enthusiastic
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Work well as part of a wider school team
