Your new company

Your new company is a specialist insurance broker operating within the Lloyd's and London Market. As part of the continued development of their Marine business, they are looking for a Marine Claims Broker to join their team in London.

Your new role

You will handle a varied portfolio of Marine claims, supporting clients throughout the claims process from initial notification through to settlement.

Working closely with clients and the wider insurance market, you will liaise with insurers, underwriters and other relevant parties to ensure claims are progressed effectively. You will be involved in preparing and presenting claims, reviewing relevant policy information, monitoring outstanding matters and supporting negotiations through to settlement.

The role will also involve maintaining accurate claims records, producing relevant reporting and developing strong relationships with clients and market contacts.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience working within Marine claims, ideally within a Lloyd's or London Market broking environment.

The client is open on level and would consider someone relatively early in their career looking to take the next step, as well as a more experienced Marine Claims Broker looking for a new opportunity.

Experience across areas such as Hull & Machinery, P&I, Marine Liability, War or Marine Property would be beneficial, alongside an understanding of the London Market claims process.

You will be confident communicating with clients and insurers, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple claims effectively.
