About

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our client’s manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical engineering background and an understanding of manufacturing processes, machining techniques and production planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings and process documentation.

- Produce and update work instructions, drawings and manufacturing processes.

- Provide engineering support to manufacturing teams on the shop floor.

- Support production planning, scheduling and capacity requirements.

- Implement engineering and process changes within existing production activities.

- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce quality issues.

- Raise and manage SAP production orders for manufacture and rework.

- Identify tooling, fixtures and gauges required for production.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Mechanical engineering background is essential.

- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment.

- Understanding of machining techniques and manufacturing processes.

- Experience with SAP, CATIA or 2D drawing packages would be advantageous.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

- Experience supporting shop floor teams and production planning.

- Good organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Rate: £22.96 per hour PAYE

Contract: Temporary
