Automotive Service Administrator / Receptionist

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Job Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Salary: £27,000-£34,000 per annum DOE

We are recruiting for an experienced Automotive Service Administrator / Receptionist to join a well-established independent mechanical garage in Sevenoaks, Kent.

This is a varied role where you'll be the main point of contact for customers, coordinate workshop bookings and support the smooth running of daily operations.

Working alongside a team of 4-5 mechanics, you'll need to be organised, confident and comfortable juggling competing priorities.

Previous motor trade experience would be an advantage, but candidates from other fast-paced customer service or administrative backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries face-to-face, by telephone and email.
• Manage workshop bookings, diaries and workloads for 4-5 mechanics.
• Prepare job cards and maintain accurate workshop records.
• Liaise with suppliers to order parts and obtain pricing.
• Prepare quotations

About you:

• Good telephone manner and customer service skills
• Competent computer skills
• Organizational skills of mechanics, paperwork and parts
• Be able to work under pressure and multi task
• Have excellent time keeping
