Pay: £50 per hour

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education college in Shoreham-by-Sea on a long-term temporary basis until Christmas.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical teaching across Level 1, 2 and 3 Aeronautical Engineering programmes, helping learners develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and industry understanding needed for careers within the aviation and aerospace sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional with the relevant qualifications and expertise looking to move into Further Education.

Requirements

Relevant Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline

Industry experience within aeronautical engineering, aviation, aerospace or aircraft maintenance

Experience delivering Level 1, 2 and 3 Aeronautical Engineering programmes is desirable

A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent is preferred

Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of aeronautical engineering

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for developing future aviation engineers
