M&E Site Manager - SR163 PCSM
Location: Indian Queens, Cornwall
Rate: £600 per day
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 50 hours per week
Working Hours: 07:30-17:30
Position: 1
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until 30/4/2027
Role Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager / SR163 PCSM to support works on a major National Grid substation project in Indian Queens, Cornwall.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing M&E activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise M&E works on a live substation project
- Take responsibility for the safe delivery of works within your area
- Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and programmes
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality Liaise with site management and other project stakeholders
- Monitor progress and identify any issues or potential delays
- Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant procedures and permits
- Provide leadership and direction to site teams
Requirements:
- SR163 / PCSM
- NG Person
- Previous experience working on National Grid substation projects
- M&E site management experience
- Manual Handling
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within a substation environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage site activities and subcontractors effectively
