Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a

Machine Minder to join our client based in Loughborough. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of condiments and seasonings, supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a

Machine Minder looking for long-term work within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with previous manufacturing experience or those looking to develop their skills within the food production sector.

Your Role

As a

Machine Minder, your duties will include:

• Monitoring production machinery to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to specification.
• Setting up, operating and adjusting production equipment as required.
• Loading raw materials and ingredients into manufacturing machinery.
• Carrying out routine machine checks and identifying any faults or issues.
• Reporting machinery breakdowns and liaising with maintenance teams where required.
• Ensuring machinery is running at optimum performance to minimise downtime.
• Completing production records and paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Assisting with line changeovers and machine cleaning between production runs.
• Moving ingredients and finished products around the production area, including regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and quality procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience desirable.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift.
• Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of food hygiene standards desirable.

Pay & Shifts

£12.71 per hour

Monday - Friday

Rotating Shifts:

06:00 - 14:30 (Day Shift)

14:30 - 22:00 (Afternoon Shift)
