About

Make a Difference Every Day – Join #TeamBeltane!

Looking for a part-time role that’s rewarding, varied and genuinely makes a difference? At #TeamBeltane, we’re looking for enthusiastic and caring Support Practitioners to join our team on a part-time basis, working between 16 and 30 hours per week.

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll play an important role in supporting two young men as they move on from school and take their next steps towards adulthood.

No two days will be the same. You’ll help them build confidence, develop independence and discover new experiences, while supporting them to make choices and work towards their own goals. From celebrating the small wins to being there for the bigger milestones, you’ll get to see first-hand the positive difference your support can make.

What Could Your Day Look Like?

You’ll be encouraged to take an active interest in their hobbies and interests, which currently include:

🎬 Trips to the cinema

🚗 Day trips and exploring the local area

✈️ Travelling and discovering new places

🎯 Trying new activities and experiences

💬 Building confidence and developing new interests

We’re looking for people who can bring energy, creativity and enthusiasm to the role — someone who isn’t afraid to suggest new ideas, explore new places and help create opportunities for the people we support.

Most importantly, you’ll take the time to get to know them as individuals, understand what they enjoy and support them to develop their interests in ways that are meaningful to them.

Why you'll love it here

You'll have a meaningful job doing things that you enjoy - it often doesn't feel like work

No uniform - we wear our own casual clothes

We fund up to £500 towards driving lessons

We reimburse your SSSC registration and PVG fees

Access to professional development and career progression opportunities

Recommend a colleague bonus scheme

Long service awards

Access to a 24/7 independent employee assistance helpline

26 days annual leave (rising by 5 days after 5 years) plus 4 paid bank holidays

Family friendly leave options, including family, parental, bereavement and special leave

Access to lots of discounts, including the cinema, gym memberships, holidays and shopping

Don't wait - apply today and start a career that changes lives (including yours).

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
