Hours: Full-time (38 hours per week) You will be required to work shifts.

About the role:
As a Residential Support Worker in Break’s mobile team you’ll have the opportunity to work across the range of Break’s services. If you’re looking for a varied role which incorporates community and residential services then this is the role for you.
Two days are never the same in this role as you work across Norfolk to provide consistent care for service users. You’ll work with young people between the ages of 5 and 25 providing extra support and shift cover in Break’s residential services for young people and those with disabilities, in our Staying Close, Staying Connected service – a pioneering leaving care offer, and at our disability short break centre.
You’ll bring a positive and can-do attitude to the role, have the ability to adapt to a varied workload and be able to build up strong relationships with a range of professionals and children across Break’s services.
To succeed in this role, you’ll be adaptable and resilient, with the ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations. Above all, you’ll be passionate about helping young people overcome adversity, build positive relationships and work towards brighter futures.
You will need to successfully complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within the first 24 months of support work. This will be fully funded by Break and you will be supported by our training team.
Please note that you must have a full, UK driving licence for this position.
The basic annual salary range for this role is £25,174 - £25,585 per annum. If your application is successful, your job offer will be based on these amounts.
