Warehouse Operative - Packaging & Labelling

East Grinstead, RH19

£13.20 per hour

38 hours per week (7.5 hrs/day)

Mon-Thu: 9:00am-5:15pm, Fri: 9:00am-5:45pm

6 Months Contract

Gi Group is currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to support packaging and labelling operations in East Grinstead (RH19). This is a 6-month assignment and would suit someone reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a controlled clean environment.

Warehouse Operative - Packaging & Labelling Working Hours:

• 38 hours per week (7.5 hrs/day)
• Mon-Thu: 9:00am-5:15pm
• Fri: 9:00am-5:45pm
• Breaks: 2 x 15 min

paid breaks + 1 x 45 min

unpaid lunch break

Warehouse Operative - Packaging & Labelling Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing line: feeding plates into the line, checking plates produced, loading plates onto trays ready for drying
• Packing line: packing dried plates into foil pouches, boxing pouched plates into sales units
• Accessory products: assembly, bagging and/or packing of other accessory products as required
• Other duties: batch number reconciliation, manufacturing ID seals, general cleaning duties in controlled clean areas and packing room areas

Warehouse Operative - Packaging & Labelling Role Requirements:

• Comfortable with manual handling - lifting and carrying moderate weights is a key part of the role
• Efficient team member who can build good working relationships
• Positive, productive communication style
• Excellent attention to detail with accurate document updating/maintenance
• Understanding of the importance of following processes (GMP awareness beneficial)

Warehouse Operative - Packaging & Labelling Top Skills:

• Manual handling / physically fit
• Attention to detail
• GMP experience (preferred)
