Class 2 Driver - ADR Training Provided

Looking for a new driving opportunity with long-term work, excellent pay, and the chance to gain your ADR qualification?

Manpower is recruiting Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client in Preston. If you hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence but do not currently have your ADR qualification, we want to hear from you. Successful candidates may be given the opportunity to complete ADR training and move into a specialist tanker driving role.

• £17.13 per hour
• Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week
• Overtime paid at £25.70 per hour
• All weekend hours paid at £25.70 per hour
• Up to £1,000 performance bonus every 6 months

Shift Patterns

Days: Monday - Friday, around the hours of 7am - 5pm with some Saturdays in busy times. Overtime will be required.

The Role

Following ADR training, you'll be delivering to premises across the region in a Class 2 vehicle.

Key duties include:

• Multi-drop gas cylinder deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing all deliveries safely and professionally
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
• Customer-focused approach

Desirable:

• ADR Class 2 in packages

Additional Information

• Minimum 1 year's HGV experience required
• Roles available from October through to approximately April 2027 (weather dependent), permanent opportunities may be available after that
• DBS check required
• Maximum 3 penalty points
• No IN, CU, DD or DR convictions
