Are you passionate about helping children with additional needs feel understood and achieve their potential?

Lotus Recruitment is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Ashley, near Altrincham.

You will provide personalised classroom support and help pupils develop confidence, communication and independence.

Your responsibilities

Support pupils individually and in small groups.

Help teachers adapt activities to different learning needs.

Encourage positive relationships and participation.

Support classroom routines and emotional regulation.

Monitor engagement and share observations with teachers.

Experience supporting children or young people in education, care or community settings.

A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but relevant practical experience is also valued.
